💐Start Your Own Water Garden

Bring a touch of natural beauty to your home with a water garden you grow yourself. From the first emerging shoots to graceful leaves and the possibility of beautiful blooms, growing lotus offers an enjoyable gardening project.

Choose your preferred color option and seed quantity, then begin your growing journey.

This listing is for seeds. Flowering plants, packaging designs, containers, fish and accessories shown in illustrative images are not included unless expressly stated.

Start with Seeds

Enjoy preparing, sowing and caring for your own plants. This product is suitable for gardeners who want to experience the growing process rather than purchase an established flowering plant.

Choose Your Color Option

Select from the options shown above. Seed-grown plants may vary in flower color, shape and size; illustrative images do not guarantee an identical flowering result.

Create a Container Water Garden

Use an appropriately sized, watertight container to create a garden feature for a sunny patio or conservatory. Give developing plants enough room for their roots and leaves.

How to Get Started

Check the seed coat. If seeds arrive unscarified, gently file a small area until the lighter layer beneath becomes visible. Avoid filing deeply or damaging the inside.
Soak in warm water. Keep conditions consistently warm and change the water regularly to maintain cleanliness.
Watch for new growth. Germination time varies with seed condition, preparation and temperature; not every seed will germinate.
Transfer established seedlings. Carefully move them into a suitable growing container with appropriate aquatic planting medium. Handle young roots and shoots gently.
Provide sunlight and space. Maintain suitable water levels, provide plenty of sunlight and allow room for growth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I buying seeds, bulbs or a flowering plant?: You are buying seeds. Bulbs, rhizomes and established flowering plants are not included.
How many seeds will I receive?: The quantity selected when ordering. Check your quantity option and order summary.
Can I grow lotus indoors?: Indoor growing requires sufficient light and warmth. A sunny conservatory or suitable growing-light setup may work; ordinary room lighting may not support flowering.
Can I grow them in water alone?: Water is used during initial soaking. Established plants need a suitable growing medium and appropriate nutrition.
Can I use a small decorative bowl?: Choose enough room for roots and leaves. Small vessels may be useful for starting seeds, but plants may need a larger container.
Can I grow them in an aquarium with fish?: Suitability depends on aquarium size, lighting, planting setup and the needs of your fish. Provide an appropriate rooted planting setup and space above the water. Lotus does not replace filtration or routine maintenance.
Will flowers look exactly like the pictures?: Not necessarily. Seed-grown plants vary, and illustrative images may differ from your plants.
When will they bloom?: There is no guaranteed timetable. Plants need suitable conditions and time to mature.
Can I plant at any time of year?: Begin when suitable warmth and light are available. Seasonal conditions matter, particularly in cooler climates.
What if I need help?: Contact service@seedbrower.com with your order number. For growing questions, include photos and details of your planting conditions.
